Kift caravans are immersive, four-week experiences. We will experiment with the nomadic lifestyle as we explore, build community, and work remotely at unique sites along the way.

Get the best of both worlds with time at houses and out in remote nature

Start the caravan at a property that has many of the amenities you’re used to from urban living: bathrooms, kitchen, and easy access to local stores. After a couple weeks, we embark into remote, stunning public lands to get the full van life experience.

Live mindfully as you explore the West and reconnect with nature.

Members can expect morning yoga practices, guided meditations, family-style dinners, sunset hikes, and games around a bonfire.

Frequently asked questions

What’s included?

Each caravan includes meals and snacks, community house access, all daily activities, and excursions. Members are responsible for providing their own vans and fuel.

What if I don't have a van?

No problem! We have rental partnerships with some of the best rental companies in the industry. Let us know if you need assistance finding a van and we’ll be happy to help connect you with the right people.

Can I join for part of a caravan?

We require everyone to show up for the beginning of the caravan in order to establish a strong foundation to build upon for the rest of the month. While we encourage your to stay in the caravan for its entirety, leave whenever you need.

Can I bring a friend or partner?

Yes, and plus-ones sharing your van will receive a discounted rate.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely! Dogs are family and we welcome your furry co-pilot as long as they are well-behaved and get along with other dogs and humans. We ask that they are up-to-date on vaccinations and that you clean up after them. Keep in mind, there may be leash requirements at some of our sites.

Are the caravans kid-friendly?

Our caravans are currently 18+. In the future, we hope to have kid-friendly caravans and locations where we can welcome the whole family.

How do I sign up?

First, complete the interest form at the bottom of this page. If you meet our membership criteria, a team member will get in touch within a week to walk through next steps. We use your answers to ensure that we’re curating an intentionally inclusive community where our values align and everyone feels welcome.

What if I can’t afford a caravan?

We are actively working to make our caravans more accessible. So, if the full cost of a membership presents a financial barrier to joining a caravan, please reach out to hello@kift.com and we’ll share information on our sliding scale pricing.

What happens after a caravan?

One of our core missions at Kift is to build intentional community and that doesn’t end. Caravans are designed to help you explore Kift’s locations and build a core community. After joining a caravan, we invite you to continue your Kift membership and stay at any of our community houses on your own schedule, with the option travel solo and meet new people or coordinate with members you met during your caravan.
